Olympiacos Youth Go From Strength To Strength
OLYMPIACOS YOUTH Football Club are looking to build on the considerable success that they have enjoyed during their first five years.
Initially formed by Andy Koullas and Yiannis Mavroudis in 2005, with an under-10s side, the committee, parents and players have worked hard to develop a football club to serve the multicultural community from all ethnic backgrounds by playing football in a safe and friendly environment coached by Football Association qualified and Criminal Records Bureau checked coaches.
Since then Olympiacos have grown to the extent that they now have eight teams, ranging from under-9s through to under-15s, and the club is looking to launch further teams in the near future.
A club spokesman said: “We are proud of our association with Olympiacos in Greece and the famous red and white shirt."
Our aim is to continue to grow and, with the help of parents and players old and new, build on the foundations laid down by our committee, allowing more children to improve their football skills, build friendships and create successful teams of which everyone involved can be proud.
The Club recently received an award from Enfield Council in recognition of its outstanding dedication and commitment in promoting the activities of Olympiacos Youth FC. within the community.
So far the teams have twice been crowned winners of the Watford League and have also reached the finals of the Cup..
